Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Assessments
ASSESSMENT SERVICES AVAILABLE STARTING IN NOVEMBER 2025
I offer a neuro-affirming, strengths based approach to diagnostic evaluation and assessments for folks 18+ seeking formal diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, or other comorbid diagnosis. I center your lived experience, recognizing that traditional screening and assessment tools often overlook the nuance of these identities, especially for individuals who are high-masking, 2E (twice exceptional / gifted), seeking diagnosis later in life, and/or hold historically marginalized identities, particularly in relation to gender, sexuality, and race. Assessments are available in person located in Ferndale, MI or virtual for Michigan residents. This affirming assessment includes a clinical interview that typically takes 2 hours (the time this assessment process takes may vary depending on your needs) My goal is to provide neurodivergent affirming assessments this includes over 10 (self report and clinician administered) testing measures to gather a wide array of data. This assessment also includes a comprehensive report with findings, diagnosis, test results, differential diagnosis, and personalized list of resources/referrals. Here is the process:
Brief 20 minute consultation to discuss the limitations, benefits, process, payment options and your needs around diagnosis.
Completion of self report questionnaires and required paperwork: History form, consent, payment. These forms must be completed prior to our clinical interview appointment.
(2+ hour) Evaluation/ Assessment
(1 hour) Diagnosis and feedback session, delivery of full report and recommendations.
There is no one test that can quickly and definitively diagnose autism or ADHD. To provide you with the best possible assessment this process requires time, nuance, many data points, in depth training, and my best clinical judgment.

Payment
The cost of assessment is out of pocket. The fee is $750. Payment plans available.
In order to schedule there is a $100 booking fee. This goes towards your total cost and is non-refundable. This deposit helps reduce no show appointments.
Your remaining balance must be paid before our diagnosis & feedback session.

Proper diagnosis can offer clarity, validation, and allow for a new profound understanding of your self. I believe and support self diagnosis and recognize that there is often still a desire to have a mental health clinician confirm what you already suspect.
This diagnostic evaluation is fit for personal confirmation, medical & educational accommodations (with limitations - dependent on facility/university). You might share this report with your doctors, psychiatrist, therapists and more.

My assessment services are not neuropsychological testing.
If you are seeking a formal diagnosis due to applying for federal or state disability benefits this will not be sufficient.
Please note that different institutions (school, health care, work) may have varying requirements for diagnosis so we recommend that you look at what is required if you are seeking accommodations with a specific program.
What to expect
This process requires a lot of verbal communication and sustained attention. We can take breaks as often as needed. I encourage folks to bring comfort objects, fidgets, snacks, and anything else that might make you more comfortable to our assessment.
I will be enquiring about your childhood experiences as part of the evaluation. It can be helpful to connect with family friends, teachers, who knew you when you were a child before we meet for our assessment. While it is not required, if you would like me to I can contact family directly to discuss with them.
The required paperwork and self report tests must be completed before we can schedule our interview. This paperwork is lengthy. If you require support to complete the paperwork or self report tests consider joining a free body doubling/ accountability/ focus group like this or this.
You will receive your report with diagnosis and findings up to 1 month post interview.
